Isn’t he the sweetest? Well, yes, most of the time, but he definitely has his beasty moments, Charlie is a Jack Russell Terrier (JRT) after all! He is the most photogenic creature – truly doggone darlin’!

Well, Christmas is behind us. We’ve seen Christmas items since before Halloween this year, which was quite bizarre. I’m liking the commercial aspect of Christmas less and less. Watching people fight over a toy or stand in line forever to be first to purchase something is so not what this season is about. Whatever your beliefs, it hopefully goes beyond the gift buying and the gift opening.

Take the time throughout the year to do things that matter for people. Help them when they need it. Clean someone’s house, bring someone dinner, listen to someone who needs to talk. Visit a neighbor. It’s those little things that matter so much in this life. When your days near the end it won’t matter how much money you have, who you know, what you drive – it will be about how you made people feel. The smiles that you have shared, the kindness that you have shown others. If this doesn’t seem familiar it’s never too late. Make it a habit. You will be a happier person for it! I promise!
