Featured Artist: DC Morale!

Olives by DC Morale 8×10″ Oil

Olives by DC Morale – a New York artist with some cool paintings! There is something familiar and reminiscent in her still life subjects. I remember these olives from childhood. My mom would buy them. I wasn’t an olive eater, but I did think they were cool.

I love the happy olive green and the bright red from the pimentos. DC painted this so well – the olive at the top in the middle with the pimento truly appears to be bobbing in the olive juice. Haha. These olives remind me of parties my parents would have. #happyart #weneedmoreofit
