What to read? I’ve got a stack of books!

The book lineup right now…

Who loves to read? I’m curious… of those of you who love to read, how many of you grew up reading? I cannot imagine not wanting to travel to faraway places from wherever I am. Reading offers such an escape. It enlightens you and makes you a better person I think. Books can make you compassionate, well traveled, knowledgeable no matter what time in history, or it can simply transport you to another time or place. Whether that place is the beach or different countries.

You learn of others struggles and triumphs (Finding Freedom by Erin French), learning about how people get through a very interesting life in the most fascinating setting (Where the Crawdads Sing by Deliah Owens), you learn what people go through, how they get through and how their life changes (The Return by Nicholas Sparks), you can pop over to the beach (Troubles in Paradise – St. John or 28 Summers – Nantucket, both by Elin Hilderbrand), or you can pop over to a cool place to eat on Nantucket (The Restaurant by Pamela Kelley) The options are endless. I probably spend as much time searching for my next book (my Goodreads TO READ list is very long) as I do reading, ha ha. Different times you want a different type of book.

What are you reading?

✍️ Until next time…
