Oh, Happy Day!

Is this not the happiest little situation? It makes me smile when I see it. These frogs look like they’re having the time of their lives – I snapped this photo when I was on a quick trip to visit my parents after 20+ months of not seeing them in person – that was dreadful. Oh, happy day, INDEED!

Right now when I look at this photo I think of my concert days – singing Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog (Known to most as Joy to the World by Three Dog Night) to my extremely large audience (blades of grass), while on stage (a picnic table), with my bandmate (bff growing up). We laughed, we sang, our audience roared. We were that good. Really! Ha, good memories for kids who played outside year around with big imaginations – is there anything better?

At first when I looked at these frogs who have joined hands and are collectively whooping it up, I think, YES! Oh, happy day indeed… I have almost made it through the summer without melting. I wilted plenty but I did not melt, a huge achievement when you live in South Carolina, for sure!

What is going to be today’s “Oh, happy day” moment for you? If you can’t think of one, come up with something. Fill a Blessing Box, help out a neighbor, donate to a good cause (time or money).

House plans are back next week 🙂

✍️ Until next time…

“Oh happy day” for me – 1) have my health and family, 2)on annual leave today, 3)Matthew and Frank on their way to their new home in Camden Maine. So much to be thankful for!
