Everyone has their own opinion of their favorite season(s). My number one, hands down, favorite season is FALL – I love the autumn colors, the smell of leaves, the memories of fall are wonderful. I look forward to less humidity, as seen in this photo. Sometimes it’s just over the top…
HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL! Fall is my favorite season. I don’t mind winter one bit, especially here in Charleston, I actually love it. I guess our summer (to us) feels like some in the northern states feel about winter (it lasts forever). At least it’s beautiful (snow or sun).
What’s your favorite season? Do you look forward to making different foods with the change of seasons/what’s available from the Farmers Market?
Note: My impatiens (above) grew leggy and weak, so I read that they needed to be cut back. So I did. Not sure I should have, but they didn’t look good like they were. They’ve grown back beautifully, but they are without blooms of any kind. All green. It’s pretty but nothing like it was. Thinking about what to plant for fall/winter in a shady spot, zone 9. Any ideas, let me know!
UPDATE! I had a pretty pink flower and then noticed the plants are covered with tiny black bugs 😖 is there a cure or is it time to say buh-bye to those as well?
✍️ Until next time…
