We walk past a cool yucca plant each day. I don’t really notice it until it blooms and then *WOW*! I’ve taken several photos, morning, evening – but the golden light hitting on this particular occasion made it even more special. I love being on the lookout for plants other than the norm. It makes a walk more meditative, which is nice.
You can read about Yucca HERE. My point isn’t to promote the yucca plant, it’s to raise awareness of what’s around you. Take the time to take in the beauty and always look up – who knows what you’ll see!
You ever have a feeling someone is looking at you 👀? Well, I was typing away the other day, sitting in the sunroom – something caught my eye, I looked up just as a huge bird (hawk? eagle?) flew into the glass window – it was looking towards me and as he approached the window unable to stop, he turned his head. *Bang* and then he flew off with only a millisecond of an interruption. I knew he was OK because when he flies overhead, I can’t see him, but I can see the shadows that his large wing span makes. Whew, it’s a wild world!
🦅 Until next time…
