We ran into Whole Foods this past weekend to pick up some groceries. We spied this interesting looking vegetable(?) which looks like it comes from under the sea… I’ve never seen it before, the tag was wrong, so I’m not sure what it is. Who can name this vegetable/fruit? What do you know about it? How do you eat it?
Mother Nature sure is interesting. Just look at the detail in this. It’s like a work of art! You know the old saying “You are what you eat?“… Well, if you eat this, you’re pretty cool! hehe.
Catch you back here tomorrow!

It’s called romanesco where I live. It’s delicious sliced, tossed in salt an olive oil and delicious roasted in a 475° oven on a cookie sheet for 20 min.
