Well, this image fits this week. It’s crazy, I’m not sure how it happened or what it’s of or even when it was taken. My phone takes its own photos. The storms that are happening throughout the country are unbelievable. The wind that we had in Charleston the other night that was part of this wild storm moving up the coast was crazy! Our live oak trees normally don’t move that much – but they were swinging like crazy (as was the line to our power and cable). Our power blinked…

…off a few times but came right back, so we were very thankful. It was one of those days that it’s best to eat dinner for lunch, so you can check dinner off the list, and grab something light in case there is no power.

Another storm to pass through today, forecasted to not be bad for Charleston, but I’m thinking about the many of you who are dealing with cleanup from the storm a few days ago. Friends in Maine (and everywhere else), ugh. We are with you. The power outages, the flooding, roads caving in, etc. Devastating.
