Lake + Land Studios Southern Living Idea House featured in Southern Living magazine!

Who doesn’t love an Idea House? We went to one years ago and had the best time ever. This plan is built by Lake and Land Studio as the 2023 Southern Living Idea House in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. (Yes! You can visit this house and see the real deal!) – It’s so helpful to see the interior images – they’re stunning! So if you haven’t seen this issue, it’s a treat – run out and pick one up now!

I usually post the entire floor plan, this time, I’m just posting the main floor (click on THIS PLAN link below to see the other floors, the tour and the source guide for each room).

This Southern Living Idea House is the Dogwood Acres Plan (SL-2098). This plan is 5,620 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There is a lot of living to be done in this house and it’s spectacular! A few of my favorite features… the coffee bar in the primary bedroom. LOVE this idea, also love the study between the great room and the primary suite. I have a feeling that’s where I could be found. I would line the walls in cypress, make it extra cozy – the perfect spot to read, study, or write – also the butlers pantry, a nice place to store all the extras, the outdoor kitchen… and on… and on… What’s not to love, right?
