Adding a little zing…

Our kitchen sink has two windows which I love. It makes doing dishes more pleasant when you have a view. But something was missing, and I knew just what it was! I plucked these flowers out of a bouquet that Fred had given me, strikingly beautiful. When they were towards the end of their lives, I took them out of the water, wrapped with pretty string and hung upside down. Now they’re gorgeous dried flowers!

It’s something so simple, yet it makes me smile every time I look at them. Sometimes those little things are the very best. I also dried some hydrangeas that were in the same bouquet, once dried I put them in a small vase. #sopretty

Is there any one thing you do to add a little pizazz? Something to liven up a corner or certain area in your home? #shareyourthoughts

Love this! I hang a plain green wreath between my kitchen windows for the Christmas season, because my mom always did. I’ve never thought of doing what you’ve done. Do you by any chance know the name of the greens? And I think the other might be large thistle? Thanks for sharing your zingy idea!
