Ask anyone who has visited Abide-A-While in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina how their plant selection is and you’ll hear wonderful stories. How many of us keep going back for more? Trees, shrubs, flowers, perennials and annuals displayed so beautifully. Not to mention knowledgable staff to answer your questions.

I took this photo last May. Just one of their beautiful little vignettes so artfully arranged. Their orchids are to die for. I’ve never had one, but always look closely at them and they are spot on perfection. I’ve been given several orchids throughout the years, and let me tell you, it’s a very thoughtful gift. For those who think orchids are difficult to maintain, I gave mine an ice cube once a week. If it was blooming I gave it two. I’ve kept each for a 2-3 blooming cycles. It’s so exciting when it re-blooms! Then I pass them along. I wish I had more space for plants. I love them but am limited on space. I have two Christmas cacti, they’re very forgiving and bloom at the most inopportune times. It used to be around Thanksgiving. Now they bloom here and there for long periods. It’s a wonder!

⏰⏩ REMINDER to set your clocks AHEAD (“Spring Forward”) 1 hour before you go to bed tonight. Me, I like to change some clocks when I wake up (so I don’t forget – usually everything except the oven, which can cause some confusion, ha ha) – thankfully so many things nowadays change the time all by themselves. Daylight Saving time begins and lasts for almost 8 months. Yay. Ugh. #leavetheclocksalone My opinion.
