This is a photo I took of my husband last month in North Carolina. We happened upon a deep snow event that was so fabulous. This is a cold day after some of it had melted. What a great time. I asked him where we’re going to visit next month to see snow? Haha… December/snow! January/snow! We’re on a roll. Time to get some boots, right?

Fabulous hat right? I love it. I surprised Fred with it a year or two ago. It’s from Billie Todd they have such classy items for sale. Very impressive and worth every penny. This hat is the The George 8-Ply Cashmere Beanie and it’s Fred’s favorite. So soft, he wears it all winter. Best gift EVER!

Snow in Charleston, SC – the last time it happened was 1989, and I remember it well. Wonderful, deep snow. It was beautiful. No ice, all snow. Charlie (Jack Russell) loved the snow! He kept biting at it, like it was one big treat. Good times.

Extended snow (ice) day – which we didn’t plan for. The ice is frozen solid and slowly melting. One more night below freezing and then we’ll be good. I am getting a bit worried about the tall shrubs that make our backyard an oasis. They can handle a little snow/ice here and there but days of it? I’m not sure. #wellsee #fingerscrossed

🙌 Thank you, Fred for all the work you’ve done to keep things good around the house. From shoveling with a regular shovel (ice, ugh!) to checking the pipes to be sure they didn’t freeze, blowing gutters free of leaves (again!) – it’s been fun being “snowed in” with you! 🥰
