I took this photo one beautiful January evening. We were chasing a sunset, trying to make it to the boat landing where the view is stunning, before the sun set completely. It happens so fast! I love the color, the blurriness of the horizon and the crispness of the nearby, very interesting plant. Wow, Charleston is beautiful!

I love walking at sunset (or sunrise, but I really like my coffee, so that doesn’t happen much in the cooler temps – although we’ve been breaking records this month >80 degrees). Well, y’all – it’s finally Saturday (if that matters to you). We used to live for the weekends, but now it seems we do more during the week which is so nice.

Hopefully your weather will be nice enough to get outside and enjoy it. If not, curl up with a good book, and get toasty. Make some hot chocolate, oooh, that sounds good right now!
