Happy Christmas Eve + Don’t Forget the Blessing Boxes!

Christmas tree lit up. Backdrop is a river at nighttime dramatic sky.

What a magical night, Christmas Eve! Between the visions of sugarplums dancing in little ones heads, the preparation, the cooking, baking, shopping, wrapping, delivering and merry making, THIS is the eve of Christmas. Tomorrow, a celebration for many… But, I’m also remembering those who may not have a lot this time of year and may need a little help with food…

“Take What You Need – Give What You Can” – it’s what’s printed on (at least most) of the Blessing Boxes here in Charleston. They’re scattered all over. Someone builds and installs it and then anyone can donate (YOU!) to it and those who need food are free to take what they need. We went to the grocery store again yesterday and filled up so we can make a Christmas morning drop. I hope it helps! We try to add to it several times/month.

Whether you’re heading out to visit friends and family or staying in and having people come to you – Happy Christmas Eve! If you fall in the group of staying home this Christmas, there’s nothing wrong with that either! Home is the best place to be (to me)!

Thank you, Dad for the photo (it’s an oldie but I love it and usually post it about this time of year).

☃️ Until next time… ✨ Take a moment to be grateful for at least one thing today – TODAY will be a good day, you’ve got this!

Make my day and leave a (public) comment!
