You know how it is when you have something on your mind and it won’t go away? Like a song… or a commercial (even worse) or Sanders Hot Fudge Cream Puff… oh my gosh. How I wish I could get to a Sanders right now and make myself happy, ha ha… I remember Sanders when I was a kid growing up, what a treat! A few years ago my mom, sister and I went to Mackinac Island for a getaway… and Sanders was there! What a surprise! Is there something from your childhood that you remember that instantly makes you smile! Savor those memories!

For those of you who got out and ran the COOPER RIVER BRIDGE RUN, WOOHOO! I congratulate you! I think you deserve an ice cream… wish there was a Sanders here, but we have plenty of great ice cream shops… enjoy!

A quick and tasty dessert for a hot blistery day!

How is this for a nice tasty dessert on a day that is so hot and steamy? The temperatures are brutal throughout the country… so once in a while you need a little treat… something quick and easy, and SOOO good!

I bought some fabulous ice cream cones at EarthFare, they’re organic, I bought these because I didn’t want all the other unpronounceable ingredients… these had REAL ingredients, and they are C H E A P, no sugar and barely a calorie!

That along with some good ice cream and WELLA! A treat that can’t be beat! Sometimes a little cone just makes the day even better! This is a fast and fun dessert that will make your tastebuds smile!

Holiday Hint: Edy’s Peppermint ice cream… Too good!

I found a treasure for you to try… Last year we got hooked on peppermint ice cream around the holidays, we got the store brand from both Whole Foods and EarthFare, both were delicious… so we were on the lookout this year, and nothing! No peppermint ice cream for the holidays?? Hmmmm… Well Fred found it at Harris Teeter, Edy’s brand, in both regular and light. We had the light and it is TOO GOOD. Very refreshing after dinner…  It’s a limited edition flavor, so get it while the gettin’s good! It’s got candy canes pieces crushed up in it… Just a little scoop is all you need to be completely satisfied!
