Look at these grand old oak trees in Charleston, SC – aren’t they fabulous? Believe it or not, this was taken in the spring! These beautiful oaks shed their leaves in the spring, shortly thereafter, they drop what my husband and I call “squiggles”, I’m not sure the technical term. You can see the bright green in the leaves. Gotta love spring!
