We’ve had some challenges the past few years. COVID reared its ugly head, the weather that has been so bizarre, wild fires, mud slides, freezing and no power in many areas in the north and the south, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, the list goes on, and on! But… all that said, there IS hope!
I know many of you (especially in the north or midwest states) are to the point where you would like to see the sun shining. I’m here to tell you that IT’S ON THE WAY! Hopefully sooner, rather than later!
I love a cloudy day, or many cloudy days, but months of cloudy weather, hmmm, I really can’t remember it… I moved to South Carolina over 30 years ago. I know I grow weary of sun. Sun every day, (when it’s very hot and humid) can wear on you. Some people love it, most find it difficult to deal with the humidity mostly.
Remember the saying “April showers bring May flowers”? I remember as a kid, thinking the saying should have been more like May showers bring June flowers, but I’m sure the weather is different from when I lived there. The climate is changing everywhere, so we all need to do our part to minimize the damage that it’s causing.
This photo was taken at Hyams Nursery in Charleston, SC several years ago. This place gets so busy on weekends that they have to have police direct traffic. Once you’re here it’s hard to not leave with a carful of treasures. Everything is so beautiful and the staff so knowledgeable. If you visit Charleston, next to the nursery is a great gift shop also owned by them. #checkitout
✍️ Until next time…
