I took a quick trip home to Michigan to see my family a few weeks ago. It was unexpected and sorely needed. I guess sometimes the best trips are the unplanned ones that you book the ticket a week in advance while you have company during a big wedding (nephew). No time to think about packing until the day before…

No time to think about packing is a good thing for me. I make lists. I start packing too soon, then I pack it and pull it out, rearrange, change my mind what I’m taking – it’s basically a nightmare. #apparentlyihaveissues #winkwink

While I was in Michigan, I took so many photos of flowers. Most photos were at my parents house. So many beautiful flowers blooming, I was going crazy! I thought this row of bright pink flowers were especially happy.
