What a fabulous plan, right? Wait until you see real life images – whoa! This house has oodles of charm. I’m using the architect’s image because it so truly shows how gorgeous this plan can be (garage is a separate plan). The deep porches, the French doors and transoms make this home feel as if it’s been here for a long time!

This is the Port Arthur House Plan (17118) by Allison Ramsey Architects. This plan is 1,833 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Port Arthur plan has Lowcountry charm that would feel in synch with most neighborhoods – especially older, established neighborhoods where a new build can fit in with ease.

First off, as I mentioned, the front porch. Love it! All the French doors add elegance and charm. When you walk in the door – on the left is a bedroom with access to a bathroom. On the right is another bedroom or study. The master suite is on the right hand side of the house, while the laundry and second bathroom are on the right, there is also the kitchen which is open to the living and dining areas. Off the back of this plan there is a nice screened porch accessible from the living room and a deck accessible from the dining area. So much space inside and out. Did you notice the glorious double fireplaces? #wow
