I took this photo several years ago – this is an exquisite example of Charleston, SC architecture. I love the lines (on the windows, columns, ceiling, detail work on trim, windows, shadows) and the shadows from the palm trees. Stunning in every way. This is one of the many grand homes of Charleston. What a treat it is to walk and snap photos.

Can you imagine the great expanse of this veranda? The stories this house could tell over the many years of its existence? Wouldn’t it be interesting to have been a fly on this veranda’s wall? Oh the stories it could tell!
