It’s the holiday season… 🎶 It’s such a festive time of year isn’t it? My “Thanksgiving cactus” is in full bloom, and even though Thanksgiving has passed, Christmas (and other holidays) are on the way – we’re all working feverishly to buy gifts, find recipes, cook, shop, wrap, etc. #blessusall

Keep it simple if you can. Most of us have what we need. So save your money and buy one thoughtful gift versus a bevy of gifts for people to open on Christmas day. I like to buy something I love and use. If it’s not useful (cooking, bedding, kitchen items) or disposable, (like food/coffee or a gift card) I usually skip it.

I’ll be posting some ideas in the coming days – some will be good stocking stuffers, others just great gifts (for the right person)!

FIrst up… a gift idea for someone with a green thumb… how about a Christmas Cactus? And let me just say, they take minimal effort, water once a week and they’re happy as can be! It’s a thought!
