Beautiful, isn’t it? We were on a hike in North Carolina – Purchase Knob to be exact. Always a good time, I love the views, they’re beyond breathtaking. For those of you who have been on this trail, this photo was taken on the fairly short strip of grassy area (my favorite) – I’m not sure what the vegetation is, but it was so sculptural against the sky and the mountains. Breathtaking!

The photo above was taken when we were staying at The Swag, hiking with Steven Reinhold with Appalachian Adventure Company and a great group of people.

So when life gets busy (December, good grief!) and you find your shoulders up around your ears like me. Stop, and take a moment, and listen to a song that makes you take a deep breath (like EARTH SONG by Akshay Sreeram, one of my favorites)!
