Christmas is a magical time in the eyes of a child. But even as adults, Christmas can be pretty magical. Reliving some of our happiest times through well worn traditions, familiar scents of cookies that our grandparents baked, sounds of laughter, seeing old handwritten recipes – all these little things make our hearts full.

If you won’t be around your family at Christmas 🙋‍♀️ take the time to give them a call. Sometimes when I’m talking to my family it feels as if we’re in the same room. Maybe that’s because i’ve been gone for 34 (almost 35!) years, whoa – does time ever fly.

I’m sure you’re looking forward to your Christmas Eve traditions, or just going with the flow and being around others and their traditions, which in turn gives you new traditions to build off of.
