Just look at the perfection in this blooming beauty! A feast for the eyes for sure. I snapped this at a garden center on a windy day, so I lucked out that it’s in focus. Stunning petals, gorgeous bloom – makes spring feel very near! Especially since I have (or at least my eyes have) detected pollen already!

Spring in Charleston, SC is beautiful. With everything blooming and happy and bright – the wonderful scents wafting through the air. But the pollen for some (like me) can be torturous.

No matter where you live there is give and take. You win some (temperate climate, close proximity to beaches, excellent restaurants and shops) and you lose some (pollen, mosquitoes, hurricanes) are the top three I can think of! No matter where in the country you think you may be better off, chances are severe weather, pollen, mosquitoes plays a role). #thegrassisalwaysgreener

So I will enjoy this coming spring which is SO SOON! The time will “spring forward” in less than a month. Whew, time truly does fly!
