It’s been a doozy of a week. Tropical Storm Debby definitely has overstayed her (un)welcome! The stress of these weather events (around the country, not just Charleston SC) takes their toll for sure. I’m writing this on Wednesday where it is still raining and the threat that Debby will make landfall somewhere near Charleston is a possibility.

Debby is/was a tropical storm vs. hurricane – that’s the good part. But it has literally rained for days and days. Heavy, (in some areas) flooding rain day after day after day. I have to give props to the City of Charleston, they were well prepared and had a plan. There was a curfew in place for a few days which helped to prevent water rescues, etc. This was a tough decision that saved people and kept them safe especially first responders. So it was worth it without a doubt.

But these storms and their effects can be quickly fixed with pretty flowers, right? Absolutely! Hence the pretty photo.
