I love having a flower, usually popped into a small jar, on my kitchen window. Often it’s a flower that broke off while changing water and giving a fresh cut, but sometimes it’s there just because. The light streams in and the setting against the large live oak trees is magical. The bright yellow makes you smile each time you walk past.
I love flowers that last. Recently we had a few celebrations over here and there were flowers involved, haha. So they get moved around wherever I’m at, bringing cheer all day long.
FLOWER POWER. Some of you (from the 60’s) may remember that slogan. I’m not referring to the original meaning but the current meaning that there is FLOWER POWER in this house. Beautiful, bright, subtle, soft, large, small flowers that are a powerful GOOD MORNING!
Happy Saturday, the last Saturday of August – CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? We had a few days of cooler (less humid) weather and everyone was outside. The humidity is back for now, but it will soon be on its way out. I can’t believe fall is near – my favorite month!
👩💻 Until next time…
