We were in the mountains in Sevierville, TN – way back when there was a place called Hidden Mountain Resorts where you could rent an individual cabin. Wood was stacked on your front porch and life was good. We would stay the week of Christmas. Sometimes we made Christmas cookies, other times we watched the snow fall and looked out over the mountains. The last time we actually got stuck on a mountain and had to call a wrecker. Steep drop off on both sides and sheer ice.

I am thankful for the many wonderful Christmas day’s that I’ve had in my life. From childhood to adulthood. So very thankful. I truly think about how grateful I am.
