Well, it’s that time of year again – time to switch the clocks ahead one hour (lose one hour of sleep) for Daylight Saving Time (DST) tonight. I’ve never been a big fan of switching back and forth. Studies show there are health implications – what are your thoughts?
Studies have shown that changing from regular time to DST can cause all sorts of problems, heart attack, stroke, workplace injuries, sleep/mood disturbances and more. Do we really need it? There was talk of it being switched to one or the other for many years now, but nothing ever comes of it. If you could pick, which would you choose?
Would you prefer to observe Daylight Saving Time (DST – what we’ll be on tomorrow) or would you prefer to keep Standard Time (what we’re on today)?
- Stay on Standard (regular) Time – like we’re in now.
- Stay on Daylight Saving Time (DST) which is what we move to when we set our clocks ahead one hour tonight (i.e. instead of 10PM it’ll be 11PM)
- Don’t care, just pick one!
- I like switching back and forth.

PS/ I realize most clocks switch themselves, but tell that to my microwave… 😂
Inquiring minds want to know! Happy weekend!
🌸 Until next time…
