Y’all! Can you believe we are nearly headed into the THIRD WEEK OF JULY? How can time fly by so quickly? To be honest, I am not a lover of hot weather, so when summer passes by I get crazy happy. Well, especially once hurricane season is over, right? This shall prove to be an interesting year.

I was headed into my dental appointment and saw this butterfly absolutely posing on the pretty white bloom. He was just waiting to be photographed. #happytooblige Is there anything better than seeing a yard with beautiful blooming plants that the butterflies and bees absolutely adore? Not a chance!

This isn’t my yard, but the plant selection is really nice. Making a lot of beneficial insects very happy.

Did you know weed killer (like Roundup) kills the butterflies and bees? Ugh. I don’t believe we have ever used it. It doesn’t help when lawn companies are out spraying weed killer on everything, AS YOU ARE WALKING BY. Windy day, oh well… So, I see yard people and I hold my breath until I pass. Let the bees and butterflies live, please. (It would be nice for the humans too).
