I’m in the midst of reading the best book (review coming soon) and essential workers play a big part. It’s a hard book to put down and I can’t wait to share it with you. All of a sudden this photo that I took this photo several months ago became more relevant.

Location of image is a hospital parking garage in Charleston, SC (downtown). It looked like it had been there for a while (pandemic I’m thinking?) – When I saw it, I thought, essential workers are always essential. There never comes a time when they’re not. The importance of what every single person does from the skilled surgeons, trusted physicians, compassionate nurses and to every single position in between no matter what it might be (essential and non-essential), it doesn’t matter. If that person isn’t doing their job the results trickle down to everyone else. And on the flip side, when that person IS doing their job it makes everyone else’s job easier or at least more bearable, right?

The book review is coming soon. I’m trying to pace myself because I don’t want it to be over too quickly!
