I literally just finished this book. Funny Story – A Novel by Emily Henry. If you haven’t read one of Emily’s books yet, and if you like rom-com, this book is right up your alley! The epitome of summer. Taking the time to sit back and read a book, drink an iced tea and soak up the outdoors (unless it’s really hot, then I’ll soak up the indoors looking outdoors, wink wink) – Looking for light reading that can hold up to distractions (boats, people, etc.) – this book fits the bill perfectly. Nancy Thayer is a wonderful author and I’ve read all of her books over the years.

Another great book by Katherine Center. Her writing is like a breath of fresh air. Hectic day? No worries. Lots going on so hard to concentrate – you can still read this book. It’s light but deep enough that you stay immersed. The ending was brilliant! #didntseeitcoming This is a good one to add to your TBR list!

I like that I was drawn into this book from page one. There weren’t too many characters. Some were likable, and some (by design) were less likable.. I started this book and ordered her next two. I’m interested to see how the stories unfold. Great summer reading. So grab a book, and an iced tea and immerse yourself in fiction! Reading is so good – like meditation of sorts.
