Here’s a fabulous little plan (376 square feet) that I found on CoastLivingHousePlans.com – introducing plan SL049, it’s a bunkhouse or boat house. Your choice. You know what else it would be fabulous as? A studio/gallery! It reminds me of artist Eugene Quinn‘s fabulous studio/gallery in Rockport, MA – except his is the real deal… historic and full of charm. But using the right materials, this one could be too! Especially if you used old wide plank flooring, wood walls/ceiling, cedar shakes instead of wood on the exterior… ahhh, can you imagine window boxes with the shutters and beautiful windows that open to let in a nice breeze?

Personally (and since I don’t have a boat… or water for that matter, ha ha) I would chose the Bunk House option… it gives you a bathroom/shower. The bunk house option would allow you space to paint, hang your work, open your door and be ready for business! Can you imagine 12 x 24 feet of space for paintings! Can. You. Imagine? This could also be a pretty sweet little guest house… Ooooh the possiblilities!
