Shrimp at Bowens Island Restaurant – Charleston, SC

Shrimp at Bowens Island Restaurant
Shrimp at Bowens Island Restaurant

THIS my friends is the 1/4# (small) shrimp dinner at Bowens Island Restaurant. The fresh, local shrimp in their delicate coating fried to perfection. This isn’t the thick batter that’s fried deep brown, this is succulent and out of this world good… so is the cole slaw… and the hush puppies… french fries are good too (and I’m not a french fry gal). I do wish you had a healthier option to go with the fried shrimp, but if you only go every once in a while its a splurge worth waiting for!

Bowens Island Restaurant is close to Folly Beach in Charleston, SC… check them out! (More details on the post from tomorrow)…

Catch you back here tomorrow!

Barbara, OMG…one of the best places in the world to have shrimp in my book. Talk about fresh and tasty. I’m writing this before dinner and how I wouldn’t love to go over there right now. Hope you and Fred enjoyed the baskets.

    1. I think you guys better plan a vacation soon so you can get a shrimp fix 😉 hee hee… we didn’t go today, we went while my parents were in town from MI visiting… it was too good!
It’s getting nicer in your area isn’t it? No more ice/snow! That’s a step in the right direction! We’ve had a beautiful day here… perfect! That will change soon, but we’ll take it while we can get it, ha ha… Have a good day Scott! b
