The Chapin Cottage (C0532) by Allison Ramsey Architects is 2,342 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Class & Style. Wouldn’t you say?
I think this house is very sharp looking, and definitely fits in the coastal landscape of the Charleston area. However, I wouldn’t have a problem building this house anywhere! Great porches, one open and the other is screened. I love the windows on the second floor. It reminds me of a cool old cottage we rented in Maine!

The main floor offers a wonderful front porch! On the left side of the house from front to back is Kitchen, Dining, Living and a screened porch off the back of the house, with doors that open to the living room and the master bedroom to get that nice fresh air. Oooo la la, I love fresh air!
On the right side of the house from front to back is a spare bedroom or reading room, master bath, walk in closet and master bedroom. The laundry room is centrally located. That’s nice, you don’t have to carry anything too far!

The upstairs has a bedroom with a sitting room and a bathroom as well as an office! What I could do with this space! Wow, it could be a studio, a dreadmill, I mean treadmill room… The possibilities are endless.
I. Love. That.
What kind of house plans do you like to see. Modern, Traditional, Large, Small, Tiny, Huge? Let me know!
Catch you back here tomorrow!
Hi, Barbara,
I don’t think I’ve commented before but I’ve been following your blog for a while now. I just wanted to let you know that I love the house plans you post. I look forward to Thursdays because of the plans. Our taste in houses must be similar because I could see myself living in almost all of them. I also love plans I’ve seen that were categorized as French Country and Colonial. I don’t want to make this post too long but I can’t close without also saying that I love the recipes that you post every now and then as well.
