Coastal Living Cottage Plan by Moser Design Group Featured in Southern Living!

2018 Coastal Living Cottage Plan (SL 1986)by Moser Design Group for Southern Living House Plans

I love an Idea House/Dream Home don’t you? One year on our way to Amelia Island, FL we passed by an Idea House in GA – what a great time we had! The bonus of a home being an Idea House is that there is a lot of press, so you can see the individual rooms as well as a video of the home. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Moser Design Group did a beautiful job creating the Coastal Living Cottage, Plan #1986 This plan is 2,916 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It’s got such charm! I love the design of the exterior as much as the interior. What fabulous porches to spend time on!

Coastal Living did a great feature on this house plan, be sure to read the article. Comments by both Eric Moser (architect) and Jenny Kennan (designer) as well as a video and images of the entire home!

Let’s start with the porches… they are everywhere! The ability to spend time, comfortably, outdoors is such a plus in my book? Both regular porches and a screened porch!

The master suite is downstairs, which is so convenient, and in this case, very private. The living, kitchen, dining rooms are open to each other, which is so nice when you want to be in touch with everyone! There is also a cozy den in the back of the house near the master suite!

Oh… and did you see the pantry and prep area in the kitchen? Whoa! Enough said!

Upstairs are two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a gallery space which can be anything your heart desires! Absolute perfection!

Catch you back here tomorrow!
