A vacation. I felt like we could use a vacation – we NEEDED to get away even if it was just for a short time. The results of being gone for just a few hours in a natural place full of beauty, sun, and water were amazing…

We headed to Seabrook Island, SC for the day. It’s a beautiful, gated community – that maintains the grounds like you just cannot believe. Everything is perfection. We stopped at a friends condo, went for a walk on the beach, then went upstairs and had a nice lunch on a deck overlooking the Edisto River/Atlantic ocean – the sun was shining, the VIEW was so incredible. It almost hurt to leave. We got in a few walks on the beach, packed up our stuff and headed home in time to let Charlie out 🐾 – Perfect timing. He got to relax in the sun, and we got time away – it truly felt like we had been gone a week (we haven’t gone out much and when we do go they are quick trips) – I’m so thankful for this “vacation”.
