Fred and I were out walking a few weeks ago, it was a beautiful sunny day, I saw a man gliding through the holidays in the coolest way… Love his reflection! The marsh was beautiful, the cloud reflections were so cool, and the sun was setting – it was warm, but not hot. A lot of people out and about. A day that makes you truly appreciate where you live.
Holidays can be so stressful. This year, after all we’ve been through, don’t let it be! Just be thankful to be around another human, or if you aren’t going anywhere, enjoy the time you have. Read a good book, make a cup of tea, even decorate for whatever holiday you may celebrate. If the weather is cooperating, get out in the fresh air.
We’re chilling this year, but not doing the turkey thing. Turkey dinner for two is too much. If it’s nice outside, might throw cushions on the outdoor furniture and soak up the sun, or build a fire outside, or just chill – maybe take a drive, or a walk or who knows what. Whatever you do, enjoy it.
Remember, no pre-holiday stress – who cares if a dish doesn’t turn out absolutely perfect – try your best. #itllallworkout
