Well, hello! Happy Saturday – hope you have wonderful plans (which can mean no plans, hehe) for the weekend. I love these colorful frogs – they always seem so happy jumping around. It seems like Fred is always saving frogs from the pool. Scoop them out and they jump right back in 🙄.

Whatever your plans were during this past week of the 4th of July – may you enjoy every second. Whether you have rented a cabin somewhere and are enjoying the lake views – or a cabin in the mountain, a home on the ocean, or your own backyard 🙋‍♀️ – Get out and enjoy it!

Hot weather = cool meals. Or at least something quick! As I write this (in advance of it posting) – I’m going to whip together a pasta, fresh mozarella, tomato, basil salad that will be divine! Need to run to the grocery store for some arugula or spinach to mix in. #yum I can throw it together in the morning and #dinnerisdone whenever we want it. WOOHOO!

Note, in this recipe from 2013, I used Barilla White Wheat Pasta – they’ve since discontinued it, so use whatever pasta you like ;) I love the bowtie pasta from Trader Joe’s – it’s not thick, perfection!
