Well, I made it! Another trip around the sun has flown by (do they not come faster and faster with each year?) – This image is supposed to be where we were going to be today, however, life happens and sometimes you just have to roll with it, right?

Unfortunately, I received an email from the place our dog goes to visit “Camp” when we’re away. They sent out an email notifying everyone that there was a possible case of K9 influenza, which can spread easily and cause complications such as pneumonia – since our little guy is up there in age and since they closed the boarding facility for a period of time AND since our last day to cancel our reservation without paying was the next day – we made the (very) grown up decision (and had no other choice) to cancel our reservation. It’s part of being a grown up, right? But we will have a good time no matter what! Another reservation has been made, here’s hoping all is well at that time. Fred always makes my birthday (and every day) extra special, so today will be a good day for sure!

I looked back over what I wrote last year (shared from a previous year) and it was too funny.
