HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Can you believe it’s already 2024 – it sounds so futuristic! I swear, by this year I would have thought we would be able to hop on a modern chair on a conveyor belt that would whisk us into the shower, makeup, dressing and we pop out the other side completely ready for the day (like the Jetson’s). #woohoo.

I’m not sure where I saved this image from (above), a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson – please take the time to read this each morning – I think this will help keep life in perspective! It’s good to have goals in life, to stride to be better, but life isn’t all about getting things done. Be kind to yourself in addition to others. We all need a break sometimes!

I have been writing this blog since 2011 (artfoodhome.com) the first ten years were daily posts. Then I backed down to four times/week. It’s not easy to keep up even at that pace, but here I am! Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to read my posts, try different recipes, look at the house plans and make such wonderful comments! You are the best of the best! I am thankful!
