I love taking a quick photo while out walking. We’re so fortunate to live where there is so much beauty. This bird was closer and flew (beautifully) to this location – just him and his shadow. I think he was having a big time. What a peaceful scene with the old trees, the marsh, the swing…

It’s going to be a chilly day here in Charleston, SC today – if it’s cold where you’re at, what are you cooking or baking today? I want to make a big pot of something hot, steamy hot. Something to reheat for a few days, but something that is wonderful with each and every bite. It’s why I love to try new recipes. We all get stuck in a rut, but wow, when you venture out and try something different you tastebuds wake up!

I might suggest an excellent hot chocolate (quick recipe but oh, so good!) – it’ll warm your innards! And maybe a batch of Clementine’s Chocolate Chip Cookies ;) #staywarm
