Spring is definitely in the air here in Charleston, South Carolina. Our winters are lovely and aren’t freezing cold for the most part. Some days are spring like, (as I write this for example), then it’ll turn chilly for a few days. Spring in our area is like fall elsewhere. Our leaves drop like crazy! On the plus side, the cardinals are back! Along with a few other (unidentified) birds that are gorgeous!

The cardinals have been nesting in our shrubs for the last few years. They’re only a few feet away from our sunroom windows. What hard workers! In addition to the cardinals, the azaleas are blooming already, at least some of them, and they’re gorgeous!

Spring is getting earlier each year it seems (in terms of weather, blooming, etc.) – although on the news it was 80℉ in Missouri yesterday – FEBRUARY! Now, that’s crazy!

Take the time to enjoy these temps whatever they may be. For me, I’m going to hold on to these cool temps. I know the heat is on the way – I love a change of seasons, I need that.
