Goodbyes are so very difficult… 🐾🕊️❤️‍🩹

Charlie 2009 – 2024

Our sweet Jack Russell who was so full of life has moved on to greener pastures so to speak. He is in a better place now. Charlie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, April 17. As those of you with animals know, the pain is immeasurable…

But we will survive. It doesn’t feel like it right now, but I know time will heal these wounds, we are fortunate to have each other.

Go hug your animal. Give them the best life in the world, they deserve it – and while you’re at it, give a human a hug too.

❤️‍🩹 Until next time…

Our Samantha has been gone for five months. Hardly a day passes when we do not mention her. In November we cried for days. Time helps, but we miss our girl.

    1. I was sad to hear about Samantha and thought about you both for days. You both gave her such a good life. This is hard… but who said life was easy, right? It has turned out to be a blessing, because his future entailed more of the same – Charlie went quickly, he is running through the clouds visiting all his friends.

    1. You’re so right… ours hearts are broken, but will eventually heal. He was funny how we all had to be in the same room, he would herd us together. But if Fred was working in one room and I was in the other he would position himself in a room between the two where he could keep an eye on both of us. Precious. His antics will be missed so much. Thankful for every dog hair I find… Don’t think we’ll ever be able to vacuum again ;)

Sorry to hear about Charlie….it is so hard losing a pet. I was thinking this early morning while walking my daily routine, I will be so sad when my Pete leaves me. He is going to be 9 years old in June. How time gets away from us. Then I came home and read your post on Facebook. I was so sad for you and Fred.

I know how much you and Fred loved Charlie. He was a big part of your lives. I know they say time heals, but think of the beautiful memories you shared with him.

I still think of our Rocky who passed 15 years ago. He was a good faithful pup.

Hang in there Barb and Fred!!
