We fell in love with this poster so long ago, after we lost our first Jack Russell Terrier. We saw this in the window at the Farnsworth Museum. What a treasure. Since that time very dear friends who know Jamie sent us the poster with an inscription and a JRT digging, which is exactly what Charlie looked like when he would get to digging in the yard for something.
What a treasure! These 4 paintings that I’ve shared over the last month + this poster with the Charlie-like sketch and the inscription: “Drawn for Barbara, Fred and Charlie” – signed by Jamie Wyeth (what a cool signature!) We have always been fans of his and his entire family. Who wouldn’t be? Their talent is over the top and I love that they are unapologetically themselves.
Apologies for the awful photo, I must have taken this prior to framing, but never thought I would use it as an image on my blog, ha ha. The image is much richer, gorgeous in color. What stands out to me that I love so much is the sketch that looks like what Charlie would do after a hurricane when there are tree limbs everywhere. #happydog The inscription including Charlie’s name is so, so sweet. Thank you! (#IYKYK)
🥰 Another treasure! Until next time…

A treasure! Yes, frame it!

Haha, YES! This treasure is framed, but difficult to get a photo of because of the glare. Love it so much!

How special!! I too am a huge Wyeth fan.
I have been since high school. They each had their own way of creating a sense of mystery.
This is such a rare and special gift. I know how you must treasure it❤️

Yes! I love all of their paintings – oh the stories that could be told with each and every one. Such a gift. It’s amazing how similar Homer is to Charlie – this is a treasure :)
