Charm, and oodles of it. This plan is a delight. It’s not always easy to find a house plan that will fit seamlessly into an established neighborhood where the hope is to have the character flow and not stand out. This house plan looks like it could have been built long ago. This porch, it’s a dream!
This is the Easton Terrace house plan by Our Town Plans for Southern Living. This plan is 2,714 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You can always count on Our Town Plans for high quality plans with great design features.
I love how porches expand our living spaces immensely, the joy of the porch (and this has an option for part of it to be screened, which is nice in the buggier temps)! But this plan is more than just a nice porch, let’s take a peek…
When you enter the Easton Terrace plan you walk into the living/dining area with a site line to the kitchen, the heart of the home. The kitchen is where memories are made and a lot of time is spent so you may as well enjoy it, right? It’s nice to be a part of things, interacting with friends and family, while you’re busy cooking. Behind the kitchen is a mudroom/laundry room which leads to the small back porch.
On the opposite side of the house (across from the living/dining) is a bedroom and shared bathroom. Separating the two bedrooms is the staircase which is nice because it affords a bit more privacy.
The main suite is lovely and located at the back of the house. You walk from the bedroom to a closet that flanks either side of the walk to the bathroom. Two wonderful closets, I know! The bathroom has a sink on each side of the entrance, toilet straight back to the right, shower to the left and in front of the shower/toilet closet is a bathtub – which is your site line as you come down the hallway into the bathroom. So select a beauty! A nice steam shower with heated floors seems like it would blend nicely into this space. #heaven
Upstairs you’ll find a bedroom, bathroom, plenty of closet space as well as storage!
Remember, if you love this plan but something needs to be altered to work for you then it can happen! This plan is available from Southern Living (link below)!

Exactly right! This is the perfect plan – love how the stairway divides the two bedrooms giving more privacy. Another fabulous plan, Suzanne!
