Happy Christmas Eve!

It’s Christmas Eve!

I love to post this image on Christmas eve – it was taken years ago, not sure if I took it or if my dad took it and sent it to me. It’s a treasure nonetheless. The magical colors of the sky coupled with the brilliantly lit “Christmas tree” – such a good idea. I’ve always loved this tree!

This photo was taken in Michigan so long ago – but it still seems like yesterday. I’m sending wishes for a very Happy Christmas Eve for you, your family and friends. I’m also hoping those without families and loved ones nearby are included in someone’s plans this Christmas. Take a look around, is there an older person alone this Christmas, without friends or family nearby? Even if you just pop over and take a plate or even a few cookies, say hello and brighten their day. This world needs light and goodness. You can be that person.

For those of us who were fortunate, is there anything better than Christmas Eve as a child? The excitement, the joy, the being extra good for so long, the hope of seeing a trace of Santa, or at the very least seeing what he’s left for you? The fun of watching everyone open gifts? Do what you can to brighten someone’s day who hasn’t been as fortunate. Donate to a Blessing Box, smile at a stranger. Say hello, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, etc. – be joyful and carry that all year long.

May all your wishes come true…

🎄 Until tomorrow…
