The Secret to a Good Sandwich!

White plate with a sandwich, turkey, arugula, potato chips, homemade sourdough bread

There is a secret that makes this the most fabulous sandwich – an absolute delight! It starts with homemade sourdough bread, yum! We didn’t have leftover turkey, but buy it sliced at Whole Foods, the in-house roasted turkey – wonderful. A slice of Havarti cheese and arugula added to the tastiness of this sandwich, but the true treat were these two…

Two spreads to add that will take this sandwich over the top. A thin spread of fig jam and a spread of Lusty Monk mustard (like dijon with horseradish) and for those who like a thin smear of mayo. It’s the Lusty Monk mustard + fig jam that is SO GOOD! Give it a whirl!!

🍽️ Until next time…

    1. At our Whole Foods it’s in the produce section – (refrigerated), it’s not in an aisle with the regular mustard. This stuff is amazing! Really good with their in-house roasted turkey for sandwiches… :)
