Book: All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin!

Book on a table, blue book, gold writing, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, Emily Giffin, All We Ever Wanted

I feel like I give a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews, but I spend a lot of time researching which books to add to my To Be Read (TBR) List. A LOT of time. So I have an excellent selection of books on the shelf to read. It helps to have found a few authors that I think highly of, especially an author with many books that I haven’t read yet (best feeling ever!) – This book was excellent on so many levels.

Fabulous characters, and so well written. The way the storyline comes together is brilliant. I just ordered another one of Emily’s books – Can’t wait to read it.

Two families. One very privileged, one working class but smart and hard working. Their families intertwine and something happens. Do you do the right thing to make it easier for your family or do you do the right thing for the situation? Tough choice for some, for others it’s clear. Excellent book to the very end!

I have a fabulous collection of books – Most of my life I’ve given them away. But I think I’m going to start keeping (bookshelves?) the books that are special to me. Let me know some of your favorite reads! I get a lot of good book recommendations on a Facebook book group: FRIENDS and FICTION. It helps a lot, and I think it makes my TBR list stronger (especially, after researching).

My review on Goodreads:

Excellent book! Oh the tangled web we weave was the first thought that popped into my head when I read this book. It keeps the reader engaged. The characters – you love some, and not others, you deeply respect another. This book has a lot going on. A privileged family, a not so privileged family, parents who will do ANYTHING for their child and parents that care enough to want their child to become a good person despite the consequences. Who will win, what will happen? No spoilers here, go read it – I loved it!

📚 Until next time…
