A quick photo of the Charleston, SC skyline taken from quite a spectacular place. Some of you will recognize this view. I kept checking on this view throughout the day. It was ever-changing from early AM through sunset. Absolutely spectacular! Just look at that sky! It’s what dreams are made of!

August in Charleston, SC has been the most spectacular of any I can remember. The temps have been relatively mild for this part of the country, the humidity a bit less, especially some days. The butterflies are happily flying around our front yard as I write this.

I can feel fall right around the corner now. Our favorite time of year. The acorns are already dropping, and they will drop for what seems like months along with bags and bags and bags and bags+++++ of leaves. Our live oaks don’t lose their leaves, they just drop a good bit of them fall and again in the spring.
