This reminds me of the tissue paper flowers I made in grade school, does anyone remember those? I took this photo in Summerville, SC a few weeks ago. I saw on a post from last year that I took a photo of the same stunning bush of flowers, but a month earlier. They were darker in color and just as stunning. I did a reverse Google search to figure out what it’s called…
This is a Confederate Rose, it’s quite a tall bush, wide too. It’s happily planted in Summerville where it receives just the right amount of sun each day. It looks SO happy.
We don’t have a lot of sun where we can plant something (there are a lot of large live oak trees around here which equals shade).
I think it’s quite clear from artfoodhome.com and from my social media that I truly love flowers, plants, beautiful arrangements, cut flowers, etc. I am constantly on the lookout for the next blooming plant. What are some of your favorites?
Hey, enjoy the rest of your weekend – it’s a beautiful day in Charleston, SC!
👩💻 Until next time… ✨ Take a moment to be grateful for at least one thing today – TODAY will be a good day, you’ve got this!
